The Ohio Association of Area Agencies on Aging (OAAAA), a nonprofit organization, is a statewide network of agencies that provide services for the elderly, as well as advocate on behalf of older Ohioans. The Association addresses issues which have an impact on the aging network, provides services to members, and serves as a collective voice for Ohio's Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs).
Medicare, Medicaid, and Private Health Insurance
The Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program (OSHIIP) provides free health insurance information and services to Medicare beneficiaries and the people that care for them. OSHIIP offers a toll-free hotline, 1-800-686-1578, free publications, a speakers bureau and training for volunteers.
As Ohio’s Medicare Quality Improvement Organization (QIO), Ohio KePRO works with healthcare providers and stakeholders to improve the health and protect the rights of Ohio’s 1.8 million Medicare beneficiaries. Our focus is on supporting imporved quality of care for Medicare beneficiaries, protecting the integrity of the Medicare Trust Fund and protecting beneficiaries by expeditiously addressing individual complaints.

Ohio Department of Aging
The Ohio Department of Aging serves more than 2 million older Ohioans. We help mature adults live active, healthy and independent lives through programs like our well-known Golden Buckeye Card. We promote positive attitudes toward aging and older people through outreach, volunteer programs and other efforts. We also provide home and community-based services that help frail individuals remain in their own homes and support consumers of long-term care.
